Wonderful vacation home! Villa Sunny Lemon is the perfect vacation home in a lovely area. The house and the pool/lanai area exceeded our expectations. The house is well equipped, there were plenty of towels, linens, etc and several other amenities that enhanced our 10 day stay. Our host was super responsive and very easy to work with. We would definitely stay at this property again!

50th Birthday Get Together with Friends This is a beautiful property and overall our group had a fabulous time; however, there are a few things you should know before you book it. It was in the low 70’s and breezy while we were here, but we were unable to heat the pool to a usable temperature. When we called the property manager, we were told a technician would be sent out, but this never happened. As the pool was one of the main reasons we booked this property, not being able to use it was a major disappointment. We did use the spa which did heat up. On the day before check-out, we had no Wi-Fi or TV. When we called the property manager on this, we were told they would look into it and that someone would call us back. This never happened either. You will be responsible for the electricity you use during your stay and it will be charged to the credit card used to book the site. It is also your responsibility to provide your own “consumables” as we found out after arrival. These include toilet paper as well as dish soap, dishwasher detergent and clothes detergent so you can clean the household items you use. If you don’t clean these items, there will be a cleaning fee charge. Finally, when you are standing in the master bedroom shower, there is a camera right outside the window. Presumably it is facing away to monitor the outside of the house, but it was still unsettling. The house itself is gorgeous and well maintained and the property management team is friendly enough. It just felt that the pool not heating up and the complete loss of Wi-Fi and TV didn’t live up to the expectations we had when we booked the property.

Villa Mikado Loved the home, the location, the outdoor pool and patio. The only negative was the bedding in the poolside bedroom. The bedding didn't smell fresh so on the second day I decided to wash the Bedding and when I removed the sheets, I discovered that the mattress pad was badly stained. So I removed the bedding and pads from every bedroom and laundered all of it. The pads came out stain free and fresh.

<strong>Perfect!</strong> As soon as we arrived at the villa, we were impressed by the spaciousness and brightness of this house. Our two grown-up daughters each had a spacious bedroom with a king-size bed and loved the private bathrooms in each guest room with walk-in shower. This villa has 4 full bathrooms (2 of which are accessible from the master bedroom) and a guest toilet. Most of the time (when we weren't out shopping) we were able to use the extra-wide terrace (the best is west) with the large animated pool. Water fountains and waterfalls bubble into the pool and in the evenings we liked to end the day with colorfully illuminated water in the heated spa. You can also set music for the terrace via the stereo system and we also had the TV on the terrace. The terrace furniture is very high quality, we made ourselves really comfortable at the barbecue on the wicker loungers and armchairs at the table. We were able to surf the internet on our iPad via WiFi and keep in touch with our loved ones in Germany via Skype. In short: Florida is out! That's exactly what we wanted. Unfortunately, we were only in Villa Calla for a week, but we are delighted that we discovered it at short notice on our trip through Florida. Thank you for the lovely stay. We would love to come back for longer and then want to rent a boat. Villa Calla is in an excellent location for that too.

Cape Coral David and the property manger were both extremely helpful and friendly to work with. The house was very nice. It had everything we needed for our 10 month old, which was so great! There even was pool floaters for him. We choose to heat the pool to 88 degrees the entire stay, because the nights were a little cool. For reference, our electricity bill came out to about $150. 00 for the week total. We didn’t think that was bad at all, considering most houses change $50 a day just to heat the pool. The only thing we disliked was that we booked for one week instead of two!

Zu unserer Zeit war es super ruhig ringsrum, was jetzt etwas anders sein könnte, da auf der gegenüberliegenden Kanalseite am letzten Tag Bauarbeiten für ein neues Haus begonnen haben.

Amazing home for a perfect vacation! Another couple and my husband and I rented this home for our vacation. We have had the most fantastic week. The pool and spa are gorgeous and we spent most of our time out here enjoying the view. We also enjoyed checking out the wildlife of owls and bunnies that are in the neighborhood. Impressive Home This is a great villa that is extremely clean, laid out nice if you have two families staying as one can be at one end of the home and the other family at the other end. Everything you could possibly need was included. All the kitchen needs and plenty of towels and linens. The check-in process was great as Klaus is very accessible if you need anything. He responds very quickly. The pool and lanai is a great place to hang out for the day. It's in a nice quiet neighborhood but yet close to grocery stores and restaurants. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Paradise found! We just returned home from a 5 day stay at Villa Ollinda and we highly recommend it! The house is exactly how it looks in photos, it was meticulously clean and spacious. The neighborhood was quiet and definitely felt super safe. Our kids absolutely loved the pool and looking at fish, iguanas, and other wildlife in the waterfront backyard. The sunsets were gorgeous as well! We rented a boat from a local shop which was so much fun to have! We would definitely stay here again!

Christmas in Cape Coral This was our first time renting a home and it could not have been better. The pictures do not do this home justice. Everything was immaculate and in perfect working order. Communication with the owner and property manager was outstanding. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. The property manager even showed us how to manage the hot tub and pool controls which was a huge help. The southwest facing pool and lanai are perfect for getting sun all day long. I think my favorite spot was sitting with a cocktail under the tiki-hut at sunset. It was a wonderful "first" Christmas away, and it won't be our last!!

Beautiful home with many amenities! The home was beautifully updated and had plenty of sleeping rooms for 3 adults to have privacy. Very clean! Loved the pool area and spent a lot of time in the hot tub. The only problem we had was trying to start the grill. We finally got it started and it didn’t stay lit, but it was a windy day and likely that was the issue. We didn’t try to use it after that. Would stay again if we vacation in that area again.

Villa adequate The villa was well appointed but we had to ask for help with a couple of things from the property manager which were addressed promptly. The house smelt unpleasantly of drains when we arrived, probably due to the length of time it had been vacant? I wait to see what the electricity costs are. Despite asking for the actual rate per kw/h we were not provided with this info. This leaves us not knowing if we are being charged the actual cost or not. That aside we had a great stay.

Girls Get away This was a perfect house for a long weekend with girlfriends. Property was clean and is well represented by the pictures.

Most items are there that you might want including games and cd's with nice stereo. The pool is very nice as is the hot tub. Well equipped kitchen. The only thing I would recommend for people to bring would be bicycles that would allow exploration of the immediate local.

The pool control is quite complicated and we were disappointed that in cool weather, we were still unable to swim. We did enjoy the hot tub when we were able to learn how to set heat controls. It was wonderful to sit outside and see the sunset and really enjoyed the patio. The cleaning team needs to give attention to smudges and fingerprints on doors and walls around door handles and light controls. All in all, we would choose to return in warmer weather.

We had a fantastic Stay We had a great stay the house was great. Very comfy and inviting. Markus and Klaus were extremely accommodating from providing our needed baby high chair and playpen for my daughter to check outs and extra days if we needed it. The place was very clean no bugs noted at all. Kitchen was great to cook in and the BBQ was brand new. They really seem to keep everything in top working order. There was only 1 thing that I was a bit disappointed with was the pool deck. The stones (deck) is come up and it was difficult to walk on my kids had to wear their sandals when around the pool. This is the only reason I gave it 4 star instead of 5. Some of the best features of the property was the water way access, every type of TV you can imagine (Netflix, Apple TV, etc.) the child proof fence around the pool which we felt so safe with and the location in driving distance to many different restaurant and shop. Just want to add that the property manager Klaus was great and so nice. When we need something it was there the next day. We would defiantly think of renting again. Lovely, spacious home, well supplied with everything one could need to enjoy the sun, beaches and activities available in the Cape Coral, Ft Myers, Sanibel area. We were quite enthralled with the burrowing owls only found in the area. We took full advantage of the various markets, craft shows and events during our months there. We rented this property blindly, without the benefit of reading a review such as this, because reviews were posted on line was in German. Home away from home This was one of the best rental properties I have ever stayed at. The owners had thought of everything. I didn’t need to go anywhere else for fun. I could just stay at the house all day for a week and feel totally relaxed. It was clean and spacious. The pool was well designed. I will be coming here for all of my future vacations.

Perfect Family Vacation Home This home was absolutely amazing and perfect for our family. The parents get one side of the house while the kids get the other side. What I appreciated were the thoughtful family details such as hampers in each kids' rooms, pool floats and smart TVs in every bedroom and on the lanai. The infinity pool is magical and the hot tub is perfect after a long day at the beach. The house is extremely close to everything such as the grocery store, Starbucks, Target and great restaurants. I really can't say enough good things about this house!

Best Family Vacation Ever The house and area we stayed in was absolutely awesome. We felt like we were at home instead of on vacation. When we came back from each beach trip, instead of having to come back to a cramped motel room, we had more than all the luxuries of home. The whole family had plenty of space to have their me time without having to be cramped up in one or two rooms. During the day or at night, we relaxed in the pool and hot tub and just enjoyed family time together. This house had all the amenities of home plus it was the most beautiful home we have ever seen or lived in. Beautiful cape coral It’s a beautiful home. Our hot water did not work for 4 days but was resolved. Also all the lawn chairs ( chaise lounges) were broken. Told managers but did not resolve. Used zip ties to sit in them. No gas in grill or blankets on the beds. Had issues with the pool. Water kept dropping. The last week it seemed to be working good. We had a wonderful time in spite of the issues.

Great retreat This was a great place to get away. The pool was refreshing, the evenings were quiet, the house had EVERYTHING we needed to make it like home and we spent a lot of time there. When we did go out nice restaurants were reasonably close. Klaus was very helpful and friendly.

Great Family Get Away! We enjoyed this lovely home on the waterfront. A quick walk down to a great little park that had something for everyone. Would definitely recommend this home.

Comforts of Home The house was amazing. It exceeded all of our expectations. Clean home, plenty of room and the house had plenty of supplies for cooking. We loved the big open space when you walked into the home. We enjoyed the comfortable couch in the living room to relax and the kitchen to make breakfast and have coffee or tea. The large pool was the best because it suited the kids who love to swimming. Overall an excellent home to vacation away from home, almost like if you had move your house to a vacation spot. I would recommended to anyone that wants to vacation in Florida.

Beautiful location We just stayed here for 7 days and could not have been happier with the home, neighborhood, location! The communication with the property management and home owner was very prompt. Home was clean and had everything we needed. The beds were all very comfortable too. Pool and hot tub were perfect. We enjoyed several walks in the neighborhood and got to see the burrowing owls, rabbits and several different birds and reptiles. Would definitely return.

Waterfront Villa The views were wonderful, and the house was great for our family

Quiet and comfortable House itself is comfortable and laid out well.. Shows some wear and tear on walls and trim. Could use a deep clean. The baseboards and area around edges of pool cage were less than pristine. Charge for addition electricity, though not a surprise, is off putting. Neighborhood appears a little rough and unkempt but was quiet and convenient to shopping.

You could see how much love had gone into putting together each individual piece of furniture, pictures and accessories. Everything was perfect. We would like to thank the Wipf family again for the unforgettable three weeks and for making their great house available to us. The pool was just the right size for spending the afternoons in. The living room invited us to snuggle up, read or write our travel diary every evening. The kitchen was well stocked with all kinds of utensils you could need, plenty of crockery and cutlery, and we were even able to bake a cake for my sister-in-law's 60th birthday. The only difficult thing for us was when we had to convert from grams to oz or ounces, but even that was a solution, because everything was described in the information folder. Nice Vacation Home The property is great for a family stay. We loved the pool, open patio, dock, and the spacious layout of the home. We ate every meal by the pool and enjoyed sunset on the dock. We appreciated that the master bedroom was on one side of the home and the other two bedrooms and bath on the other, which afforded space and privacy. We also also liked the entertainment room and cozied up there each evening. We have rented several vacation homes in the Ft. Myers / Cape Coral area over the years, and we liked this home the best. The property itself is five stars, but we rated the listing at four stars because we were surprised by the bare minimum amenities. Our stay was 4 nights we and needed to purchase dishwasher detergent, napkins, Kleenex, shampoo, bath soap, and toilet paper. We rent vacation homes a lot and have never experienced a house that didn’t have more than one roll of toilet paper or a single box of Kleenex. We loved the home and this wouldn’t prohibit us from renting it again. Just be aware of the amenities before you go to the grocery store. Overall - great place to stay.

Escape from winter! The house was very nice, easily accommodated 3 couples traveling together. Great location, near restaurants and stores. Pool was great, as well as lake views from the patio. Very clean and equipped with everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again!

This place rocks! As soon as we walked through the front door, we knew we were going to have a good time. This house smelled so clean and fresh. It is a newer, modern, well equipped home. Great Villa This Villa was not damaged in H. Ian. Inside was clean and well stocked with everything. Outside- pool was lovely as well as the dock where we had coffee in the morning and wine at sunset. Very convenient to grocery stores and shopping. It was perfect and we would recommend highly!

Cape Coral Villa Needs some new rafts for pool. House very nice but smaller than it looks on line. Pool is also smaller than it looks but refreshing. All and all good stay. Restaurants are nice around house that were recommended in book. Needs a new cooler to retake to beach.

Decent property in nice location but needs some improvements The house is in a nice quiet neighborhood with most of the things you will need nearby. Robert and Tanya were easy to work with and very responsive. The hot tub was great and we loved the water view. Two main issues we had were the solar pool heater and poor lighting in the kitchen/living area. Unless to sun is out and it gets up to 75-80 ambient temp, do not expect the pool to be very warm (over 80.) They really need to upgrade the heater to gas or at minimun a heat pump. The furniture (which is not the most comfortable for watching a two hour movie) could be laid out much more efficiently. The dining area and living room should be swapped. There is a huge amount of wasted space in the foyer/entry area which would allow for much more practical use of space. If these items were fixed we would stay here again. We have been renting from VRBO for many years. I write accurate and honest reviews in the hopes that everyone can gain something useful from them.

The house is well-kept and very clean. The decoration was done with great attention to detail. The equipment in the kitchen leaves nothing to be desired, there is plenty of crockery, pots and many other kitchen utensils. Everything was also very well-kept and clean! The rooms are very spacious, the kitchen is the center of the house. We felt very comfortable there during our stay. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank Klaus Hackbarth. He manages this house on site and is extremely reliable and very nice. If there is a small problem, he is there immediately and takes care of it immediately and the solution is found very quickly. Villa Olinda is superb We stayed at Villa Olinda in June for a family vacation. The house is very spacious and well maintained. The kitchen is well stocked with necessary prepping and cooking items. The beds are very comfortable. The master bathroom is huge. The owner and property manager are very responsive with answering any questions or concerns you may have. The location of the property is in quiet neighborhood. The house includes MANY amenities for families with kids ranging in age from new born to teenagers. The pool and patio area is wonderful for rest and relaxation. The pool does have a deep portion that is about just under 6' deep which was a surprise. Pool temperature was consistent at 86°F and didn't need adjustment. We would definitely recommend this property and would rebook if a future visit.
